“ The house is well located inside the Astral Winery, with access almost entirely paved or cobblestone, and approximately 100km from Porto Alegre. The facilities are beautiful and comfortable, built of wood and glass. It has an indoor area, an outdoor area with views of the lake and the winery. Unfortunately for us, since we hadn't made a reservation in advance, we were assigned the worst of the spaces, as it is pet-friendly and we couldn't have pets, since there is an outdoor area. This space is enclosed but without a roof, so the ambient temperature was totally unpleasant and insects were circulating, attracted by the plants and the pleasant temperature for them. The table height is within the lower minimum standard, but it is not in accordance with the standard height of 78cm. The lighting level is very high, so the environment is not cozy. The wine and sparkling wine list is of their own brand or from the partner winery, with some options of wines by the glass. There is an orange wine option that we approved of. The prices charged are reasonable. As a courtesy, water from the property's artesian well is served, and it is of excellent quality. The cooking is quick, and the dishes are well-presented and tasty. The service is wonderful, carried out with friendliness, politeness, and helpfulness. The extra virgin olive oil is produced in Rio Grande do Sul and is from the 2023 harvest. The vinegar is wonderful. The menu is not digital, there is no hand sanitizer on the tables, the napkins are not individually wrapped, and the cutlery is not individually bagged. The restrooms are nice and very clean, but there is no background music. There is an outdoor kids' area, located away from the restaurant. The parking is private, uncovered, and free. ”

“ Ideal for those seeking a unique and high-standard experience in the Bento Gonçalves region. The restaurant, as well as the Monte Astral winery where it is located, have recently opened, so they are brand new and still relatively unknown. From the furniture to the tableware, everything is in very good taste. The space is beautiful, spacious and bright, overlooking the property's lake. The menu features à la carte options and 3 versions of a course menu, with or without wine pairings. We chose the 4-course Monte Astral Menu. The starter was naturally fermented bread, butter with fleur de sel and citrus curd. The second course was wagyu brisket with green beans. The main course was a flavorful traditional rice dish accompanied by an even more flavorful boneless chicken. And for dessert, a surprising apple blossom. Everything was perfectly executed and paired with the winery's excellent biodynamic wines and sparkling wines. The menu cost R$260 per person. We arrived early and Chef Felipe led us on a tour of the winery while we waited, where we were warmly welcomed by Giulia, Adílio, and Chelly. At the restaurant, Carlos Eugênio's service was exceptional. The winery is located in the rural area of ​​Farroupilha, almost on the border with Pinto Bandeira. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something elegant and high-quality. ”

“ We had lunch at Ostara (@ostara_restaurante) on a sunny Sunday and our experience was very positive. The arrival at the restaurant, located in the Monte Astral Winery complex, was via some unpaved roads, but with good traffic flow. One detail about the arrival is that we almost missed the place because, on the road, there is a sign with the winery's name, but without mentioning the restaurant's name. It's not difficult to deduce that it's there when you look at the map and know there's a connection to the winery, but I think it's good to have a clear identification for those who don't know the place. We recommend making a reservation in advance (link in the Instagram profile) if you don't want to wait. Since we had time available, we went without a reservation by choice and our wait in line didn't extend beyond a little over an hour. From the reception to the end of our service, we were very well received by everyone. Great friendliness and clarity in the directions and instructions. While we waited, we could have sat at one of the tables near the bar (where you can order appetizers and drinks) or visited the winery in the other building. In this case, we chose to wait and order our appetizers at the restaurant itself. The restaurant's architecture and aesthetics are exquisite, prioritizing natural lighting. The outdoor area is another charm, very spacious and with plenty of greenery. Our choices: As an appetizer, we ordered Labneh with Grapes and Pistachios. For the main course, following Ostara's philosophy where dishes are made to be shared, we opted for a Cota 481 Skirt Steak and Gnudi with Rustic Tomato Sauce. We finished with a very well-made Not Cheesecake in an individual portion. The price of the dishes and wines is compatible with the tourist region where the establishment is located and with the preparation techniques and seasonal ingredients. We highly recommend a visit and will certainly return many more times. ”
